Within the first year of business they saw the need for Quilters Treasure to
produce their own line of a commercial print of this uniquely beautiful
fabric, making larger cuts and lower prices available for commercial and
hand painted fabric. Their fabrics is now available in 55 delicious colors.
This is available both retail and wholesale.
As a family they
appeared in four segments of Quilt Central's series A Family in Quilting &
Men of Quilting, demonstrating Joel's unique technique of Hand Painting
Marbled Fabric for the family based business, they also shared with viewers
the techniques of how to make a stained glass butterfly, a method that
reduces sewing by more than 50%. Brian's quilt Daniel in the Lion's Den,
traveled the country in 2006-8 with Men of Biblical Proportion.
They
have successfully sponsored a mentor program bringing new designers into the
quilting world & sponsor their yearly Quilters Treasure Challenge. Contact
Bobbie if you would like to have your patterns published.
Bobbie's
physical & medical limitations meant she had to simplify techniques. What
was a necessary modification for one made quilting easier and less stressful
for all. They now bring these same techniques into the quilting world
modifying popular traditional quilting methods, easy to perform. Traveling
in their motor home they are living the dream of seeing the USA and meeting
quilters from all over the world. Their constant exposure to about 30 Quilt
Shows each year, helps them gain insight into the traditional & innovative
trends & keeps their classes & products on the cutting edge of quilting.
They have several YouTube videos available. To view these just
